(1) If the accused of a crime investigated by the bureau needs to be detained, the bureau may detain him or the nearest police station.
(2) The Bureau itself may keep the evidence related to the crime seized or obtained in the course of the investigation or send it in writing to the nearest police office for safekeeping as needed.
(3) In accordance with sub-rule (1) or (2), if any police office is requested to keep any accused or crime evidence related to the crime, the concerned police office shall keep such accused or crime evidence in accordance with the prevailing law.
